Being an entrepreneur is not everybody’s cup of tea. You’ve to work like crazy, 24/7 hard-work, and no off. Though, I wouldn’t deny that you do get leisure period to have rest and fun too. But, overall it’s a tough life. If you’re a doctor or an engineer, you do get the liberty of proving yourself with a label added to your name instantly.

I’m not saying that these guys don’t work hard, but for an entrepreneur to establish him or herself takes a lot of tolls. Many fail after some time, and others who strive, do get a recognition within the industry. However, the toll that I was quoting above is still there. Health and fitness is the main thing that gets a hit with your crazy schedule. So, today I’ll tell you all about my experience with being an entrepreneur and having a ketogenic diet.

Me And My Crazy Routine

Ketogenic Diet

I’ve some of the toughest routines since the start of 2018. With the launch of Influencer Spotlight, it became harder for me to continue the gym too. Forget about going for a walk or run also. The only thing left was basketball and swimming, which too couldn’t be done regularly. I had to rely on lean-meals or vegs. But, then one day, while was browsing the net for some cool weight-loss tips, I came across Ketogenic diet and its useful effects on human body. To my surprise, it was one of a kind diet that I could easily follow. I have always been a fan of those six-pack abs and wanted to get some on my body too. But, the heavy diet that you need to maintain was not on my to-do list. In fact, I couldn’t count on following even one form of diet ever.

How I Met Ketogenic Diet?

Ketogenic Diet
This is one heck of a story to start with. Like I said before, I’m not a big diet fan, and fail to keep up with that calorie counting stuff. However, Ketogenic is not at all like any other diet. I have started and failed a lot, to begin with. Most of you must have tried one or two of the below, in my case, I’ve tried and failed at all. Some of my tried, tested-and failed diets are:

  • Vegan diet
  • Atkins diet
  • Raw food diet
  • Mediterranean diet

However, by far, I’ve been able to sustain the ketogenic diet. And, I’m happy to stick to it. The others are easy to follow too, but they need a lot of discipline to show their effects.

What Is Ketogenic Diet?

Ketogenic Diet

Lazy is not a word in my dictionary. But, health needs extra workout routine and stamina, along with a schedule. But, if you spend half of your month traveling, and half staying in a motel – you simply can’t create the perfect bliss of a gym. Though, I do keep my track-suit handy, but still. However, back to Ketogenic diet – in simple words, it is a low carb diet. Mainly used for treating epilepsy. When it comes to dieting, you have to count and observe:

  • Carbohydrates
  • Proteins
  • Fats

With all of these three, you’ve got to maintain a chart of each-and-everything that you eat.  Your daily food chart intake has to be a book full of what you eat, and how much you eat. Plus, you also have to chart your food with healthy eating items. Fruits and vegetables have to be on your list too. But, I also love the mighty cheeseburgers and McDonald’s morning breakfast. To put it straight, it all became tortures for me. But, ketogenic diet helped me to maintain a healthy and perfect eating style with everything that I loved, and also not missing my junk food list.

Me And Ketogenic Diet – A Moment Of Perfect Silence

Ketogenic Diet

In the start, I was quite afraid of starting my perfect so-loved Ketogenic diet (which by the way is my most recommended diet now!). On day one, I just kept reading and making notes of what to eat, and how to eat. Then I also studied how Keto will help my body produce ketones. Those of you, who don’t know yet, it is a form of food that your body can use if glucose is short in production. The alternate to produce ketones in your body is through fasting, which obviously you can’t do forever. So, Ketogenic diet is the perfect tip to lose weight smartly. Your body will use ketones to obtain energy, and in this way, you’ll burn the extra fat easily. The fuel will help you stay active and focused on whatever you’re doing.

Can You All Do It?

Ketogenic Diet

Well, if you’re not diabetic, a blood pressure patient or breastfeeding mum – then yes you can do it. It is not advised by doctors and general physicians to continue with a Ketogenic diet if you’re one or all of the above stated. Instead, you can check-in with your doctor to get a low carb diet to stay fit and healthy. Rest, all others can try the keto diet to get the fit and healthy body like mine. The general rule of thumb before you start is to actually make up your mind. Unless you do that, you won’t be able to achieve your ideal body weight.

Me And Carbs – Both Have Different Ideas

Ketogenic Diet

Obviously, that will be your first thought too. I love carbs, but, for a successful ketogenic diet, I had to avoid them. The minimal you eat carbs, the better the results are. I had to avoid all of the below:

  • Bananas
  • Beer
  • Soda drinks
  • Chocolate bars and candies
  • Rice
  • Donuts
  • Pasta
  • Potatoes

Instead, I had to start shopping for:

  • Unprocessed meat or Keto meat
  • Seafood and fish
  • All types and kinds of eggs
  • A natural fat, like coconut or butter
  • Olive oil
  • Salads
  • High-fat dairy products
  • A few nuts
  • Berries

 What About Drinks?

Ketogenic Diet

Now, once again, this is a tough list. I had to avoid milk. I also had to forget my all-time favorite cafe latte. Though I enjoyed sugar-free drinks, you do get the idea. Coke, Sprite, and Fanta – all were out of the question. I also could drink all types of tea, without sugar obviously. And for water, it came as a life-saver. You can drink water as much as you want.  I like to add lemon, cucumbers and mint leaves in my water – they all make water a refreshing drink. For all Green tea lovers, just avoid sugar and you can sip away any tea you want. I like to sip:

  • Green Tea
  • Mint tea, and
  • Black tea

Lastly, the bone broth is a perfect sip for your body. A ketogenic diet is simple to follow, but in the start, it may sound a bit difficult.

Something Shocking Happened

Ketogenic Diet

Recently, the ketogenic diet has gained a lot of popularity. And, as I like to read what I eat, I came across a lot of companies who disguise their food products to get more customers. So, be aware, as this is something that can harm you a lot. You have to read the ingredients very carefully before purchasing any “keto food”. The low carb food will usually never be one. So, always read what you eat, before eating. Lol, I understand it can be a tough challenge for a lot of you. But, healthy living is something we all work hard for, so why waste it?

The Fresh Frittata And Spinach Keto Meal

Ketogenic Diet

It is a healthy ketogenic diet meal. I use a cup of diced bacon. You can add chorizo too if you want. Add two tablespoons of butter. Cut fresh spinach. Add the butter to the frying pan, and add bacon and spinach on top. Fry them well, until they turn a crispy shade of brown. Meanwhile, allow your oven to preheat at 350-degree Fahrenheit.  Use a baking a dish, and spread butter on it. Now add eggs and cream together. Mix them well. Now, add the bacon and spinach on top with shredded cheese. Allow them to bake for thirty minutes. Your perfect keto meal is ready. I enjoy it with an onion dressing and love to do my training sessions while eating it.

Try Ketogenic Coconut Porridge For Breakfast

Ketogenic Diet

This my healthy morning ketogenic diet meal. It gives me the oh-so-satisfied-belly to start my mornings usually. I use:

  • Coconut oil
  • A little bit of butter
  • One spoon of coconut flour
  • Just a pinch of powdered psyllium husk
  • Pinch of salt
  • Four tablespoons of coconut cream
  • Frozen berries as a topping

This blissful ketogenic diet morning meal is a perfect meal to start your day. Add all ingredients on to a non-stick pan. Mix them well. Allow them to cook on low heat. Don’t use too much heat or you’ll overcook your meal. Once you get desired texture, allow the meal to cool. Now add fresh berries, and you can enjoy my yummy recipe.

Lovely Keto Egg Muffins

Ketogenic Diet

I always try this on weekends. It is one of my tastiest recipes. I love this breakfast while I’m on-the-go. So here is what you need to do. I usually take twelve eggs. Finely chopped scallions, at least two in quantity. Cooked bacon 5oz. and, 6oz. Shredded cheese. Two tablespoons of red pesto. I also add salt and pepper according to my taste. I grease the muffin tin with butter before adding an ingredient. That’ll help it to not stick. Then I preheat the oven to 175-degree Celsius. Now, add the scallions first. Meanwhile, beat eggs, pesto, and cheese together. Then, I add the mixture on top of the scallions. And, then add them together and let them bake for twenty minutes. After that, they’re ready to eat. You can enjoy them while they’re freshly warm or even when they are cool.  I usually make a stack for two-to-three days and refrigerate them for eating them later also.

Get Real With Real Food

Ketogenic Diet

No matter what type of diet you pull-off, real food is REAL. Eat food that is minimally processed, and is good for your health. Try to make a list of foods that you can eat, and try that in your diet. Best is that you first discuss it with your doctor, in case you’re suffering from any allergies or disease. Rest, my all-time favorite tip is to stay focused on whatever you do because it’ll take you to the ladder of success ultimately. Further, if you start one diet, just stick to it. Eat everything that is required while counting the carbs. Drinking lots of water are healthy for your metabolism, and will rinse-off impurities from your body. So, drink plenty of water and have an intake of 8 glasses of water daily. And, though I hardly get any time now, but maintain your jogging or gym at all costs. The healthy body opens a healthy mind and will allow you to focus on your work more. Share with me your ketogenic success story as soon as you start seeing your results.
