So, how is this beneficial? Suppose you have several websites and Android apps. Earlier, you had to check their performance separately, but now you can merge them in search console with the help of property sets. Thus, you get to see how all your web properties are performing as a whole. So, you can check data from property sets in any report such as mobile usability, AMP errors, and rich cards.
In case you have never used property sets before and have multiple web properties, then you need to do the following steps. Please note that the web properties must be verified in Google Search Console first.
- Create a property set
- Add the web properties (website, app)
- Give a couple of days to Google to collect the data
- Now, you can have a detailed report

AMP error detection made easier
Meanwhile, Google Search Console AMP (Accelerated Mobile Pages) report has been updated. It will now mark critical and non-critical errors. So, what is the difference between critical and non-critical errors? If a page is marked as critical error in search console then it means that Google can’t index AMP version of that web page and it requires your immediate attention to retain SERP ranking. On the other hand, if the error is non-critical, then it does not prevent Google from indexing the content of the page. However, Google recommends you to take both critical and non-critical errors seriously and make sure that there is no issue whatsoever with the AMP version of your website.
