He is only a young, 17-year-old guy. But, yet he is an entrepreneur, speaker, and podcaster. Although, Jesse is in high school, but far into his entrepreneurial ride. At this young age, he has been featured in both; the Huffington Post and Business Insider.

He quotes, that, “Social media coverage has an influence over 60 percent of the Millennials. This coverage permits them to notice a brand and its value. This in contrast with TV ads is 70 percent in total.” So, when he researched further, he noticed that only 26 percent of GEN-Y clients verified social media as the flawless base to introduce a new product. Thus, he had to do something different to reach people and impact the society.

Flipping Shoes On eBay

Jesse created his first “business” at 9 years old. That too, with flipping shoes on eBay. A little over a year ago, Jesse created his podcast, 20 Under 20s. The goal of the show was to help educate and motivate the next generation of entrepreneurs. To get guests on the show, Jesse had to send over 350 cold emails a day. But, he never failed to do it. Whether there was a response or not, he still did it.

What He Acquired?

As a result of those cold emails, Jesse has interviewed guests like, Gary Vaynerchuk, AJ Vaynerchuk, Brandon Steiner, Jeff Hoffman, Grant Cardone, Trevor Booker, and many others. In addition to his podcast which has over 200K downloads/listeners, Jesse became very artistic at social media work.

He grew his own Instagram @jesse.kay11 from 600 followers to over 25,000 in 4 months.  Consequently, because of his work, Jesse began working with Brandon Steiner, the CEO and founder of Steiner Sports on his social pages.

Although Jesse is still working with Brandon, he has launched his own media company with his associate – Riccardo Santoni. The company is called, Viral AF Media, which helps brands reach their target audience and consumers via social media. The team at Viral AF has functioned, and grown many 7-8 figure clients at present!

Quitting is not for a long race. You have to quit quitting. Failures teach you and shape you in a BETTER YOU. Change your approach from “I CAN’T” to “I CAN”. Build communication skills to reach more people. Everybody will love to hear you out.

Seek alternatives to issues and client approach. If a client calls to complain or discuss an issue, they DON’T want to hear CAN’T. They have called you because they think and know you are the expert and have a solution to every problem.

In many scenarios, the policies, terms and conditions may not let you go ahead and do the help. But, you still have the ball in your court. Show empathy, ask about the difficulty faced, and probe efficiently to collect data. Ask what can be changed and if it’s changed what will be the benefit. You have what you need with this.


Excuses or Defenses are the same as shouting: “I’M NOT GOING TO HELP YOU!!!” No one wants to hear “I’m new,” or “I’m down,” or “I’m the only one in the office,” or “I am not the right person,” or “this is not my area of specialization”. That’s your problem, and you have to bypass it.
